Brief:
Students must design and produce a range of three greeting cards under the theme “Growth”.
This theme can be interpreted in any way. The greeting cards should be designed with an occasion or target audience in mind, eg. Birthday, Congratulations, Good Luck etc.
All research work including support study artists/designers, preparation drawings and photographs, and other sample and experimentation work must be contained in an A4 notebook.
General Aims:
To explore shape, line, colour and texture through creating a range of three greeting cards under the theme “Growth”
To understand the importance of research and development within design
To develop methods, approaches and strategies for the generation of ideas and conceptual thinking
To develop a personal, creative and expressive response to design
To demonstrate good time management
To present work in a professional manner
